ReplyDeletethanks for the give a way. I am already a follower. My favorite books to read are middle grade and picture books! Happy St. Patrick's Day!
ReplyDeleteI'm a GFC follower: Michele. I'm not sure about the 4 leaf clover, but I know that the 3 leaf clover is what St. Patrick used to demonstrate the trinity. Right now my favorite genre is historical fiction, but that changes!

What do you think the four leaves of the lucky shamrock stand for?
ReplyDeleteThe three leaves of the white clover have become associated with the Christian Trinity, or God the Father, His Son, and The Holy Spirit. The extra leaf of the four leaf clover is said by some to stand for God's grace. A less dogmatic interpretation is that one leaf stands for faith, another for hope, the third for love and the last for luck.

Thank you for the award, Christie! I love it. So glad you like the new design. My favorite books to read are YA! Been on a contemporary kick lately.
ReplyDeleteFaith, Hope, Love, & Luck are what the four leaves stand for now. Originally St. Patrick used the shamrock to demonstrate the Trinity, God the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, and if you were fortunate enough to find that extra leaf, it was a gift of grace as all things from God are! :)
ReplyDeleteCurrently I'm enjoying historical fiction.
My favorite St. Patrick's Day treats are shamrock cookies.
Thanks for a chance to win this wonderful giveaway!

Wow, thanks so much for the awesomely cool award! You rock! And I feel like the lucky one, to be included in with these other amazing blogs!
ReplyDeleteHere are my four things to share!
1. FAITH - being in the game now for some 7 odd years, it takes faith to keep my chin up and stay focused on publication. For some it happens quickly, for others, it happens slowly. But if we stay at it, I have faith it will happen.
2. HOPE - I hope that I'm able to stay on task as far as the multiple projects I'm juggling. I'm usually a one project at once type of gal, but right now, that just isn't possible!
3. LOVE - I love bacon. Me and bacon, we're like THAT *crosses fingers*
4. LUCK - I feel lucky to have such great kids. My oldest is so responsible and has great priorities, and my youngest has a big heart and sees the funny in everything.
This was fun! Have a great week!
