I'll start. I am thankful for the simple things in life, like hugs, colors, chocolate, my laptop, and chapstick. They can also be events and experiences. Like...when my son wrote me a valentine in the middle of November and it said "I love you" on it three times. Or the best thing about my new job is getting my son to school early and he's not embarrassed to give me a kiss because there aren't any adults on car duty yet. Have fun!
Great giveaway! I'm thankful that my son told me he loved me in the car today without any particular reason - just out of the blue. My daughter just wrote a hilarious Thanksgiving story, and I'm wearing a pair of brand new fleece pajamas.

What I am thankful for beyond the usual wonderful family things. In no particular order.
1- I am thankful that despite the rough economy, we have been able to stick with our commitment to our sponsored child.
2- I am thankful for a shower and tub combo that lets me hurry when I have to but indulge occasionally in the tub with a book. :)
3- I am thankful that I live in a climate where we get decorative snow. It is literally here today and gone tomorrow. After living in Maine for several years, I really appreciate that!
